All materials available on safefoodhandler.ca — including (but not limited to) text, written content, graphics, illustrations, logos, icons, photographs, videos, audio files, interactive modules, quizzes, exam questions, certificate templates, design elements, layout, and the distinctive look and feel of the Safe Food Handler Certificate — are the exclusive intellectual property of SAFE FOOD HANDLER and are protected under Canadian copyright law, as well as applicable international treaties and conventions.
Copyright Protection #
The entire website, course content, and all related materials are copyrighted © SAFE FOOD HANDLER. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, display, performance, publication, adaptation, or any other use — whether in whole or in part — is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.
Trademarks #
The name Safe Food Handler®, the associated logo, the certificate design (including its red-and-white Canadian-inspired elements, maple leaf motifs, bilingual formatting, and layout), and any other marks, slogans, or branding used on the platform are registered or unregistered trademarks owned by SAFE FOOD HANDLER. These trademarks may not be used in any way — including in advertising, promotions, product packaging, websites, social media, or commercial materials — without our express written permission.
User License Grant #
By enrolling in any course on SafeFoodHandler.ca and completing payment, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the course materials solely for your own individual educational purposes during the term of your enrollment. This license does not include:
- The right to download, save, copy, or reproduce course content (except for personal notes or permitted certificate use)
- The right to share, distribute, or make the materials available to others
- The right to create derivative works
- Any commercial use of the content or certificate design
Your access may be terminated immediately if we determine that this license has been violated.
Enforcement & Permissions #
We take the protection of our intellectual property seriously.
